Senior Investment Associate

New Senior Investment Associates are quickly involved in many aspects of making investments, from analyzing and recommending deal structures to building relationships with senior executives at our portfolio companies. The Senior Investment Associate career path moves into a Director's position taking on more responsibility for deal originations and closings.

Upon joining PGIM Private Capital, our Senior Investment Associates participate in a customized, seven-week credit training program to build their knowledge and skills.

Participants not only meet with the senior executives, but also attend instructional sessions with them to learn the nuances of private capital from some of the most experienced investment professionals.
As a Senior Investment Associate, you'll join an investment team in one of our 15 regional offices, working closely with a range of middle-market companies by:
  • Arranging and attending marketing calls with portfolio companies, prospects, and financial intermediaries
  • Uncovering deal opportunities
  • Analyzing, structuring, negotiating, and closing deals with your team

Investment Analyst

The Investment Analyst program offers a chance to build your investment analysis skills and expand your knowledge of private capital investments, asset management, and the broader capital markets. This position offers real hands-on financial analytical experience, which is a solid foundation for building a successful career in finance.

With an average of two-to-four teams per regional office and one-to-three analysts per team, there are always opportunities to collaborate or share deal experiences with colleagues. And when the workday is over, our analysts have found opportunities to engage in the fun of more team camaraderie through sports, volunteering, and attending staff gatherings at local points of interest.
As an Investment Analyst, you'll work on an investment team in one of our 15 regional offices. Responsibilities include:
  • Analyzing potential investments in a range of middle-market companies
  • Researching markets and industries
  • Preparing marketing materials for companies or financial intermediaries
  • Monitoring portfolio companies' financial performance throughout the year
