In 2023 Insight Equity, a private equity firm focused on the lower middle-market and sponsor of this transaction, approached Prudential Private Capital to support its acquisition of Atmos Technologies. The sponsor sought a partner who could provide a one-stop financing solution across the capital structure to finance the acquisition.
In March 2024, we provided a senior revolver, a senior term loan, senior subordinated notes, and a common equity co-invest. The sponsor decided to partner with us given our: i) relationship-based approach, ii) certainty of execution, and iii) deep understanding of the business.
